This Privacy Policy explains what information Evolve University, operated by Evolving Legacy LLC, doing business as Evolve University, collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the platform.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as your name and email address, and a password stored only as a salted hash.
- Activity on the platform, such as your course progress, community posts, goals and logged activity, practice sessions, purchases, and certifications.
- Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your subscription status and purchases. Stripe also collects your billing address so it can calculate and collect sales tax.
- What you enter into AI tools and practice calls, including your inputs, call transcripts, and the responses generated, which we store as your run history.
- Technical data such as your IP address and device information, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Push notification tokens, if you choose to enable notifications on a device.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the platform, your account, and the features you use.
- To process payments and manage your membership and purchases.
- To send account, billing, and service messages, and, if applicable, marketing emails you can opt out of at any time.
- To operate community and accountability features, including leaderboards and team rollups you participate in.
- To keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
3. Service providers we share with
We share only what is necessary with the providers that help us operate:
- Stripe for payments and sales tax. It receives your payment details and billing address.
- Cloudflare for hosting, storage, Stream video playback, and Turnstile, the bot check on our forms.
- Resend for transactional and marketing email. It receives your email address and the messages we send you.
- Anthropic for our AI tools and practice calls. The inputs and transcripts you enter are sent to Anthropic to generate responses, and we store them as your run history. They are not used to train AI models.
- Apple for push notifications, once the Evolve University iOS app is live. Your device token and the notification text pass through Apple’s push service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Cookies and sessions
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use it for advertising. Disabling it will prevent you from staying signed in.
5. Marketing email and your choices
If we send marketing emails, every one includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and opting out stops all marketing email while you continue to receive essential account and billing messages.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account, subject to records we are required to keep. In plain terms:
- Account data is kept until your account is deleted.
- Usage events, which record actions on the platform, are kept while your account is active and removed when it is deleted. The one exception is the cost record of an AI run, which stays without your name so we can keep to our daily AI spending limit.
- AI run history, meaning your inputs, transcripts, and outputs, is kept until your account is deleted. To have it removed sooner, email platform@evolveuniversity.ai from your account email.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email platform@evolveuniversity.ai from your account email. We will respond within 45 days, as required by applicable law, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
8. Children
The platform is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
